Henry was such a gentle soul who always offered support, great advice, music, and humour. He radiated an energy that could not be matched. This wonderful smile tells a million stories. The most sincere, selfless and kindest person. Henry’s legacy will live on through the values, wisdom and love he instilled. Our deepest sympathies to Henry's family. We were close friends many years ago and enjoyed several righty vs lefty golf competitions in Stoney Creek, Kingston, a memorable March break trip to Georgia. A big man with an even bigger heart. My deepest condolences to Henry’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Henry wasn’t just an incredible volleyball coach—he was an extraordinary person with a gift for making everyone around him laugh, even on the toughest days. He coached me for five unforgettable years at Cardinal Newman, shaping not only my skills on the court but also my character off the court. I have many fond memories of good times and laughter when road tripping to away games and tournaments. His humour, kindness, and genuine love for the game made him truly one of a kind. Henry’s presence made every practice and game feel special, and his legacy goes far beyond the court. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

I taught Henry when he was a student at Cardinal Newman High School. I remember him as being a great student who was well-liked by his teachers and other students. He became a great teacher and coach and by all accounts was a loving and devoted family man. He will be missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Mr. T. Lo Presti

I am deeply saddened to hear this news. My heartfelt condolences go out to Mr. Stachurski's friends and family. I will always remember his kindness and feel truly fortunate to have been one of his students, both at Sunshine and Rainbows Daycare and Cardinal Newman. To me, he will always be "Mr. Henry," and I will forever cherish the wonderful memories of him. He was a truly kind and loving person who touched the lives of so many.

Dear Jodi and family, I am so saddened to hear of dear Henry’s passing. I have many fond memories of coaching against Henry over the years. What I will remember the most is how he brought out the best in all of his players win or lose (and he certainly won more than he lost). I’ll also remember the huge hugs he’d give me every time we crossed paths. I know he lived a life of faith and service to others. I pray that the love you shared and your memories of such a special man will bring comfort to you in these coming days. Henry has fought the good fight and found his place in heaven. RIP my friend.
