Hugh David (Dave) McEneny passed peacefully in his home on Sunday, October 27th 2024 after a brief, but brave, battle with cancer. He was born February 6th 1958 to Margaret and Jim McEneny who emigrated from Ireland in the early 1950s. He was an only child but was fortunate to have had a great circle of friends.

While growing up, he enjoyed playing sports such as baseball, however, his primary passion has always been cars. In 1976, at age 18, he began working for Stelco and remained there for nearly his entire career, almost 50 years. His job and his coworkers were very important to him.

He married the love of his life, Susan, in 1985 and they shared 3 beautiful children together. He was a true family man, loving nothing more than the times spent together. He was a wonderful husband, an amazing father, and an exceptional grandfather. He will be missed more than words can convey.
