My name is Don I work on the docks at Stelco and had the pleasure of interacting with Dave while running the heavy equipment. His door was always open and he welcomed any ideas or improvements to the machinery we ran daily. Any repairs that were needed he organized and helped make sure everything was safe and ready to go if needed. He will be sorely missed rest in peace Dave.

Sometimes in life one makes decisions that make you proud. “Dave” was an excellent supervisor in the truck department and later in the mobile equipment department at Stelco Hilton Works. A true gentleman that loved his job and cared for the people that worked for him. My condolences to the family. Peter Barbera.

Such sad news about my cousin David, a true gentleman and will always be loved and remembered by his family in Ireland, always loved a car and the photograph of him in the car I have posted was on one of his visits to Newtownards where my Dad always talked about him saying "look at Uncle John's old fashioned motor car", at peace now with Aunt Margaret and Uncle Jim, my love and thoughts with entire family , Yolande x

Dave McEneny was an outstanding Gentleman and a very long collaborator and friend of Putney's Auto Tech Centre. For 50 years he has graced us with his calm demeanor and cooperation to "just get the job done".
His humour and compassion were an inspiration to how we treated others.
We miss you already Dave!
