I have such fond memories of the time I worked with Doug at MDS in Sudbury.This was from 1973 to 1981.I remember vividly the day he brought me home to meet his new son.He and Irene were so excited.I remember Irene's great sense of humor.
I frequently had problems understanding Doug's accent and was constantly asking him to repeat what he said.His response was 'Margaret, do you not understand English?'My deepest condolences to his family.May you someday meet again on the other side.

Doug, you will be remembered for your special thoughtfulness. You and Irene had a special green thumb and always had a garden of flowers that you would always share with all. Your morning routine of greetings will not be forgotten.
