John "Jack" Grunow Obituary

With his loving family by his side, Jack went to heaven peacefully in his 79th year. He was met at heaven’s gates by his wife and soulmate Lynda, who has been watching out for all of us since her passing in 2019.

Jack was the loving father to Pam (Michael) and Wendy (Adam). He was also the cherished and devoted grandfather of Lucy and Lyle.

Jack was reunited in heaven with his parents William and Phyllis Grunow, his in-laws Al and Ollie Muir, as well as his brother Bob (Hilde), sister Diane (Frank), and brother-in-law Jim (Flo).

Jack will be remembered by the many friends he has met throughout his entire life. Special thanks to the staff at Emmanuel House.

Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive in Stoney Creek on Wednesday, July 31 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Binbrook United Church on Thursday, August 1 at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Emmanuel House would be appreciated.
