Our deepest sympathy to Wendy and Pam. Uncle Jack was a lovely person. When we were little and my mom was alone with us four kids, Uncle Jack would visit every Friday with a tub of ice cream and a big smile. It was the highlight of our week. We will never forget his kindness and generosity.

We send much love and sincere condolences to your families at this difficult time for all of you. Jack was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. We are grateful to have shared such special lifelong memories with Jack throughout so many years at Sandy Bay, he was our dear friend. We will surely miss his contagious laugh, his constant love & enjoyment of vacation time spent with family and friends, his bonfire night stories, and especially his gentle and kind spirit. He was a friend to all who met him here. His favorite pastime was certainly watching the sunset every night with Lynda and his family on the end dock. Rest in Peace Jack, you will be sadly missed. So sorry to hear about your dad's passing. I will always remember his favorite things were Lynda, the girls Pam & Wendy, the dogs, & of course fishing with "the boys", the garden and of course his tomatoes. He will be missed by many.

Brenda and I were extremely saddened to hear of the passing of my life long "Garside Gang" friend. Jack and I grew up together going fishing with the gang at Coots Paradise, spending time at their family cottage at Turkey Point, walking to Queen Mary and Delta in all kinds of weather. On writing about my years growing up Jack was my "Google Guy". He had an outstanding memory regarding so many events surrounding our upbringing on Garside. He is and will be missed.
