Obituary of Alba DeBoni

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alba DeBoni on May 11, 2024, surrounded by her family. Loving mother to the late Monica, Cindy (Dino), Jackie (Doriano), Madi, Dean (Melissa). Adoring Nonna to Claire, Olivia, Matteo, Camille, Monica, Emily, Megan, Rachele, Madeline, Daniel, Grace. Alba is predeceased by her siblings Rosa, Andrea, Remo and will be sadly missed by her sisters Pia & Ines and by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Alba was a kind and generous woman, always willing to help someone in need. She loved hosting family dinners and spending time with her grandchildren, telling stories from the past. She had an incredible work ethic and never fully retired from her career as a hairstylist. Her passion and creativity spilled over into her hobbies of painting and gardening. Alba was a true role model and her spirit will live on in us forever.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Alba’s life will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 165 Prospect St. N., Hamilton on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 2 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
