Obituary of Beverley Joyce Williams

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Beverley Joyce Williams, née Luey.  Bev is predeceased by her parents, Dorris and Garnet Luey, and her sister Lois Sinclair.  She will be greatly missed by her husband of 52 years, Robert, her daughter Kia (Charles), and her sisters Glenda Kuril (Ernie), Sandi Luey, Donna White (James), and many adored nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. 

Bev spent her career in healthcare supporting patients, surgeons, and colleagues, always with great empathy, efficiency, and dedication.  She was an avid reader and a marvellous cook.  She loved Summer days in her backyard by the pool surrounded by plants and flowers and enjoyed late night card games and crossword puzzles.

Bev’s smile lit up every room she was in, and her laughter was contagious.  She was a wonderful storyteller and wrote the best and most heartfelt cards and notes.  She will be remembered for her compassion, generous nature, sharp sense of humour, and lifelong love of animals (except snakes).
