I am so sorry to learn of Lorry`s passing. Deepest condolences to Jan and family. Lorry was a kind and gentle man who was always interested in hearing how others were doing. My Uncle Lorry (my darling godfather) has only ever been a source of joy and kindness and laughter in my life. From his cheeky smile and his divine food (always made with love), his humour and his kindness. He filled his space with happiness, a gift unequalled. I always felt taken care of when I was with him. I always felt like I had come home, when I spoke to him, saw him or was with him. Steve's observation 'I think he was the nicest man I have ever met.' He is missed beyond words and loved forever. He will forever be my godfather and my children's fairy godfather. I feel very honoured to have known him. All our love Sammy, Steve, Harry & Eleanor

I only met Lorry at the Liburdi functions where I worked with Jan for many years and we became very good friends and she would tell us of the wonderful meals and desserts that Lorry made.
