Obituary of Patricia Caroline Ann Souter

It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of Pat Souter on June 4th, 2023

Pat, in her 73rd year is survived by her loving and devoted husband Ian of 53 years.  Pat is also survived by her loving daughter, Heather, and son Scott (Candice).  Pat also leaves behind a brother, Leonard (Undine) and family living in Germany. Pat will be missed by brother-in-law Glenn Souter (Anne) and nieces Sandy (Tim), Kristy (Emily) and Simon.  Pat was a talented florist and enjoyed gardening and Scottish Country Dancing.  Pat had met such wonderful dancing friends from around the world during her travels. Our special thank you to all of the PSW’s from Bayshore and CBI and to Nurse Anne and Rachel for all of the loving care they showed Pat.  A very big thank you to a dear friend, Debra Read.  We would have been lost without her love and support.  Pat struggled with Progressive Aphasia, Myoclonus and epileptic seizures for the past ten years.  Pat was a real trouper and loved life, family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on June 8th from 2:00 to 5:00 at the Hamilton Beach Rescue Unit, 316 Beach Blvd. Hamilton. Light refreshments will be served. Online condolences and notes of sympathy may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
