My beautiful Lissette, I do not know how to express this feeling of sadness for your departure so quickly from this plane, when you still had many things to live next to your loved ones. Although I know that you are in a better place and that you stopped suffering, you will always be in my memories and in my heart as my friend, my co-worker, a great mother and wife. I will never be able to forget our long talks on the phone and in person, our outings for lunch or coffee, and how we shared our sorrows and joys in our workplace and in our daily lives. I don't know about you, but our friendship of more than ten years led me to love you as another daughter, a daughter that life gave me to advise, comfort, share and love in this country that opened the doors to unite our lives. Thank you for being this beautiful gift that life gave me, we will meet again and God bless you.

My deepest sympathies to the Amatuzio family. I feel blessed to have had Lyssette as my best friend for 17 years. I will miss her humour, smiles, hugs and infectious laugh! We shared many memories of going out to restaurants together to catch up and also long telephone calls and school outings with our kids. She was a lovely person, reliable, dependable and honest. Despite working long hours in her career and her health challenges she was an amazing Mother to her children and wife to her husband. I will miss her greatly.
