Hello Mom,
it's been a year now since you been gone, and I still haven't fully accepted this, I don't think I ever will. I always feel you very close to me; I see all the signs around me. I can hear your gentle soft voice say my name. I miss you so very much and wish I can hold you tight just one more time.
I was down in your basement and seen the poem footprints in the sand, I seen this there for years but this one time after you passed, I took some time to really read it, understand it and I now I know why you placed it there. The Lord has always been with you and carried you through your life, through all your hardships and struggles. And now you are there in heaven with your angels, the Lord, your mom and dad, your sisters and brother, I can see you smiling down upon us.
I miss you so very much and wish I can hold you tight just one more time.
