I have known Rose for close to 40 years. I always told her that I wanted to be like her when I aged ie rollerskating, volunteering, being so kind and generous of her time. I can go on and on. She always had time to talk with you. My condolences to her family today as you say goodbye to a beautiful lady and dear friend.

I remember Rose when I first roller skated at the Forum in Cambridge in 1996 and then I saw her skating at Pier 8 as well. Such a beautiful skater. We chatted a few times and I remember a warm beautiful person with a beautiful smile. My sincere condolences to all Rose’s loved ones and friends.

Michele, you and your children are in my thoughts today. My friend and colleague Rose was one of the most caring and sincerely good people I’ve known. Empathy and compassion shown everyday. No limits to her giving and sharing, all she knew. She taught me how to make a perfect apple pie. She always arrived to meet a new addition to our family, with gift in hand for the older sibling, never to be left out of the celebration. In 1984, “Glow Worm” arrived and from then on shared with all the sisters and eventually enjoyed by my grandsons. Magic…… She was a wonderful girl, brilliant in so many ways and I will always miss her. Sleep well sweet Rose till we meet again.

Gord and I as well as the rest of the roller skating community will treasure the time we had talking and skating with rose, she was a wonderful person who only had great things to say about everyone. I loved when she brought her grandchildren to skate at the pier . She will be greatly missed! Our condolences to her family and close friends.

I started roller skating at Scooter's in 2012, and I remember admiring Rose's style and vigour on the rink. I will remember a fantastic and classy lady who jived to her own rhythm and shared her joy with everyone.

I will always remember Rose as a very outgoing and friendly woman. She cared so much for all the patients she encountered in her work. Rose put her family first and foremost and loved them very deeply. She always welcomed you with a big beautiful smile. R.I.P Rose.
