She was the best auntie I know always there to talk to about family and just life. Will be missed was a great pleasure to be around and my uncle Ted which I miss truly now both together again god bless the rest of here family. My prayers are with you all. Amen

To the Petras family, Brenda and I express our condolences for the loss of your dear mother. Growing up on First Street North may seem nostalgic now but I still see your Mom's smile like it was yesterday. Mrs. Petras was a big part of our neighbourhood life and we are all better off for it. May perpetual light shine upon her and grant her eternal rest.

Our sincere condolences to the Petras family on the passing of your dear mother "Minnie". I have very fond memories of your mother (and father) growing up on First St. Your mother always had a kind word and wonderful smile and I'll forever remember your mother in this way. She was a good friend to our mom and I know mom is very sad to see the passing of her good friend and long time neighbour Minnie. Thank you Mike and Sue. We all have so many nice memories from our First St childhood and with our family was fortunate to grow up with your family as neighbours. Our Moms indeed were good friends over many years. They will miss their visits. That is so kind of you to remember our Mom’s smile and friendly nature. Thank you!

Thank you Paul. Glad to hear that. Our fathers and mothers were the glue of the neighbourhood. Amazingly, so many stayed in their homes as they aged.
