I also fondly remember Friday night cheese & bacon bun nights at Grandma & Grandpa Shenton's house - and many Christmas get-togethers with the Dents. Miss you Aunt D.

David, It's with great sadness I learn of Dorothy's passing. The good times at the cottage in Winona, the great bond of friendship between Dorothy and my Aunt Doris, and the long lunches in Niagara on the Lake. All great memories. I treasure the links to my Canadian cousins and we could spend hours recounting times past at the Cottage with your Grandparents. Stay in touch. We will visit together when the border opens again... Sorry to hear that Dorothy has passed away. Doug Dent was my friend and mentor for many years. I remember David coming to our place with Doug to fly his huge kites. I also remember visiting Doug and Dorothy at 24 Charles St. She was a very gracious hostess and they were a great couple. Remember the good times David. Gary Birch

I surprised Aunt Dorothy on her 95th Birthday with balloons and cookies. It was such a wonderful visit. So many wonderful memories throughout my life. Sleepovers, silly putty, haystack cookies but the memory I will cherish the most is the Friday night cheese and bacon buns family get together when I was growing up. I’m so grateful I was able to visit with you over the past couple of months, bringing you some cheese and bacon buns, a Coke and a smile! I miss and love you so very much.

Dorothy was a friendly face to my mom on her first day at Lakeview Retirement Center and became a wonderful friend and neighbour to her. We felt blessed to have her in our lives. God bless her. Our deepest condolences to you David and your family.
