It is with great sadness learning of the passing of Tony, our prayers and condolences sent to Mary and family. Our mother was so proud of Tony talking about her at your wedding anniversary. Mom and Dad always talked highly of Tony, Moms stories of teaching Tony the English language while they worked together. Sending all our love, the Boettcher Boys.

Dear Mary, Shirley & Merv and Denise & Roy,
My heartfelt condolences to you all in the passing of dear Tony. Tony was a wonderful person, and I shall always hold a special place in my heart for him. We met in 1993 on Tour de Canada. Over the years, I was fortunate to spend time with him on the road. He was a true leader, always leading by example, and he taught me a lot. I loved his wit, charm and sense of humour. I have been blessed to call him my friend over all these years. Thinking of you as you celebrate the wonderful life he had.

We shared many great miles on tours & local rides.
He was a Legend cyclist & his truculence was amusing.
I teased him all the time!
He'll be in our hearts forever!

Mary and Family....
Sorry to heart about Tony's passing. I fondly remember the weekend social visits and card games at the Simons residence and the "rug rats" who I later saw at Slo-Pitch when I umpired some of their games and Merv's games. The world has lost a good man.

Condolences to Tony's family. Came upon Tony waiting for the bridge to go down at Lock one in St.Cath..He was cycling towards NOTL and I was walking my dog. Very surprised when I told him that I remembered him while serving my apprenticeship 77-78 at Stelco Open Hearth. He spoke fondly of touring thru Europe. Very nice man. RIP

Very sorry to learn of the passing of Mr Wiegerinck. From what I read he lived an active and full life. My memory of Mr W was when me and Kevin Bodden as kids used to throw the football in front of Kevin's house and Mr W would walk past us on his way home from 7pm mass at St Francis. He would ask for the football and proceed to kick it 100 feet in the air and half way down Corman Ave. That man must have played some soccer in his time. lol. RIP Mr Wiegerinck.
