Obituary of Janet Geraldine "Gerry" Bachur

On Wednesday, November 17, 2021, Our Brave Mom exited this world.  Although the Cancer stole her mobility and in the end her voice; it could not steal her strong will and determination. Mom, our social butterfly will forever be remembered for her gentle presence, kind and grateful mannerisms. Her best friend and Husband Bill Bachur had passed away just over a year ago and Mom felt his loss deeply.  As per her wishes they will now forever be together. The family thanks the Amica Stoney Creek staff for the care and support provided to Mom, Dad and our families.  A special thank you to Sindu, Mom's favorite Nurse friend for always being at Mom's side when she needed you most. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Stoney Creek. An announcement of the Celebration of Life for Bill and Gerry will follow after the virus crisis has lifted. Donations to the Alzheimer Society,  McMaster Sick Kids  or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences and notes of sympathy may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
