As a staff member at AMICA I am greatly missing our Gerry. She was the highlight of my every day and I will forever cherish our conversations. Gerry was always smiling and welcoming everyone with her warm heart. She was so good!
I am happy she has reunited with her lovely husband Bill.
May she rest in peace. Heaven received a strong angel!

My deepest condolences to the entire family. Gerry was a wonderful woman. I worked with Gerry when she worked in the ICCU and I worked in the CCU. She was a very hardworking nurse and a great colleague. Gerry and Bill were also part of our neighbourhood on Madoc Street. We remember her and Bill taking their daily walks and always stopping by for a chat. May her soul rest in peace and her memory eternal.

I had the pleasure of working with Gerry in the ICCU until she retired. Gerry was a good nurse whom I learned so much from in those early years. The picture of her is how I remember her....a lovely lady. Condolences to her family.

Kristen, Paula and Julie, I had many chats with your mom at Amica; so many I feel that I know each one of you. I know she was so excited to go to her grand daughters (Amber’s) wedding this summer but was unable to go because she was feeling unwell. I loved our chats as she walked outside or on the 2nd second floor at Amica. Your mom never complained and always looked at the positive side if everything. She was a wonderful lady.
More importantly she was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren. She always had a smile on her face when talked about each one of you. I will miss her so much! Jane Glassco daughter of Marg Glassco…

To my cousins Kristen, Julie and Paula and your families we the “ Swanson’s” offer our deepest condolences. Aunt Gerry and Uncle Billy were an important part of our childhood memories and we will remember and love them forever. I am so grateful that our mom, Joan got some visits in with her sister Gerry before she got very sick. Mom wishes to remember Gerry just as she was that day in September, her own self. We love you, our hearts go out to you at this difficult time.

Gerry will be missed by many, especially her three girls and grandchildren. She always treated her handsome brother in law Dean and I with great kindness and affection and we enjoyed many a wonderful meal together as she was such a great cook. Knowing she is now with my brother Bill gives one great comfort.
Rest easy beautiful lady and give everyone up there a hug from us. Dot and Dean
