Obituary of Debbie Robertson

Peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 28th, 2021, in her 64th year.  Debbie leaves behind Don, her loving husband of 42 years, cherished daughters  Bonnie (Brandon) and Laura (Rob).  World's greatest Grandma to Dorothy, Sophie, Liam and Nora.  She will be missed dearly by her brother Jack and sisters -in- law Janice, Mary and many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents John and Mable Rogers, her brothers Wayne and David and her sister Eleanor.  Debbie worked tirelessly for the Hamilton Police Service in Communications for nearly 30 years.  She loved being in the sunshine, having a dog curled at her feet, grandchildren in her arms and when her home was full of people.  

Our sincere gratitude to the Palliative Care Team at St. Joseph's Hospital and Dr. Boyle for treating her with the utmost dignity, respect and grace throughout her time in their care.

Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A private family Funeral service will be held In the Chapel on Monday, August 2, 2021. Cremation to follow.
