I had the privilege of working with Deb in the years leading up to her retirement. She carried out her duties with grace and kindness. She spoke often and lovingly of her family. I am glad that our paths crossed on this journey. Rest peacefully, Deb. Chris C.

My thoughts and prayers to Debbie’s beautiful family, in your time of grief. I have many memories of Deb, working alongside her on switchboard for years. Deb’s undeniable love for her family is top of the list. Deb couldn’t wait to upload the newest pictures Monday morning, showing her grandchildren and family gatherings or the silly pictures of the family dog. Friday’s were always the favourite. I knew it was close to the end of the shift when Deb would pull out the binder with pages of restaurants, so she could order Friday night take-out for her family or for a quiet dinner with Don. Chance made us colleagues. Fun, laughter and respect made us friends. Rest In Peace my friend, Rest In Peace. Cathy Drake
