Aunty Helen,
I will miss seeing you when I come to Canada. Your visits to Aunty Stef and Carla were a treat.
Your hugs, mischievous smile, and shenanigans will always have an indelible place in my mind and feelings in my heart.
Your vitality, style, and confidence, all admirable, and too shall be missed.
Rest in peace, Aunty Helen. It's not fair, but I understand. You suffer no more, and in the hands of our heavenly Father, you are, helps my soul accept.
Love,
Andrea

Upon hearing of her death an incredible sadness overtook me. I came to know Helen many moons ago in England when we were introduced by my cousin Deryck who became her husband. She was glamorously dressed, looking like a young Diana Ross; she was warm, friendly, positive, and upbeat and I came to regard her as a sister. That persona continued throughout her life regardless of whatever she was going through.
Aside from making "wicked" spaghetti sauce, she was a very good mother to her only child Tammy and naturally a sweet and caring grandma to Junior.
May Helen rest in eternal peace. She is gone but not forgotten.

Farewell, dear friend, now passed beyond our sight,
To climb the stairway up to Heaven's gate;
It matters not if it be soon or late,
We too are destined to behold the light;
Together we shall share the home prepared,
Take up again the fellowship we shared
In our so brief encounter here below;
No vague hope this, faith tells us it is so.
Meanwhile, we cherish all we knew of you,
Courage in trouble, fortitude in pain,
The smile that broke through all adversity,
The evidence you did not live in vain.
O generous friend though you are unaware,
We offer for your soul our chastened prayer.
Helen and I met as Lodge sisters, but we became very good friends. I will always remember the great times we had together. I will miss you but you will never be forgotten.
May your soul rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon you . Love you always.
For Tammi and Junior,
Though your grief be too deep for words
And too personal to share,
Do not keep it so, but when you are able,
Let the sympathy of loving friends support you, even if only a little.
My deepest sympathy to you both. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

With deepest sadness we offer to Shauntel and the Baird family our condolences. Ms. Helen was always so lighthearted and kind. I would alway see her as being so royal with her beautiful head wraps and her glow. She was the best mother and nana you could ever ask for to Tammi and Junior. I will always remember her for all her great attributes and her love for having fun at the casino.
With loving respect,
The Mullin Family

Funny, mischievous, kind, bold, generous, beautiful and loving are just some of the words that springs to mind when we talk about Eleanor. She was adventurous and was one of two in the family who were brave enough to move away and live abroad from the rest of the family. She raise a loving daughter Tammy and grandson Junior and kept close to her family even though we are 5 thousand miles away. Helen will be remembered and missed always in our hearts and everyday action.
Do not stand at her grave and weep,
She is not there, she does not sleep.
She is a thousand winds that blow.
Do not stand at her grave and weep,
She is not there, she does not sleep
She is the diamond glint on snow.
She is the sunlight on ripened grain.
She is the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
She is the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
She is the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at her grave and cry.
She is not there,she did not die!

Reflecting back to 1969 when my Cousin Deryck introduced Helen his girlfriend at the time to me and the rest of our family back in London and I was totally impressed by her style of fashion. She was doing some modeling then and she absolutely looked the part. She was also a friendly and fun loving person and I always looked up to her like she was my older sister especially after I moved to New York and she spent some time with her mother-in-law here also in New York and we would have girly conversations and I would get fashion tidbits her.....You are gone but will not be forgotten and May Your Soul Rest In Eternal Peace.
