Obituary of Ivan Petek

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ivan Petek. Born June 16, 1932 in Mala Polana Slovenia. He migrated to Canada in 1957 with his wife Rozina and infant baby boy. He built a life in Hamilton and went on to enjoy retirement from Dofasco. His passion was his family and working on his plum farm. He will be greatly missed by his wife Rozina (Tompa), son Branko (Mary), daughter Darinka (Steve), and his adoring grandchildren Adam (Ivona) and Stefanie. Bog te živi Dedek! Nazdravje. Due to current COVID gathering restrictions, a private Funeral Service will be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 10 a.m. which will be livestreamed to the Donald V.
