It is with sadness hearing of Ivan Peteks passing. I knew him and his family well for 12 years he was a wonderful man. He adored his wife Rozina, his children, Branko and Doreen and their spouses including his wonderful loving grandchildren. This family has so much love for each other. My memories of Ivan and his family are all so wonderful, they are truly blessed to have each other at this time. Ivan, you are loved and will be missed by many. Words can not express how sorry we are to hear of the passing of Stric, a good hearted, giving and cheerful man. We are blessed and honored to have known him and his joy of life. He will be missed. May he have eternal rest and peace.

It is with a heavy heart to say farewell to a cousin I grew up with in Malapolana, Slovenia. Ivan was always such a good-humored man. He took pride in his gardens. He and Rozina would always be happy to see my family and I when we'd visit from Montreal. Whether we'd see each other in Vineland or in Stoney Creek we would always have a great time and enjoy many laughs together with him wearing his various fashionable "klobuks" which all suited him so very well. Thank you for the great times and memories. You will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences to his wife Rozina, son Bronko, daughter Darinka and extended family.

Mary, thank you for your condolences and memory of my father the Klobuk fashionista... He definitely had a collection of them! I’m glad you posted a photo so I could put a face to the name. I actually remember you from back then, and I’m pretty sure I came across an old photo from the 60’s when you visited us on Gage Ave.

My deepest condolences to Ivan's family. He was a very good and kind man to me at the Dofasco Foundry.
He was the first man to introduce himself to me when I went into the chip shop and I never forgot what he said to me - his perm number and clock number 5252, 507 Ivan Petek at your service.

Please accept our condolences for the loss of Ivan. I haven’t seen him in a long time but he always enjoyed our company and a Nazdravje was his way to say that he is enjoying himself. He will be missed by the family.
