I'm so sorry to see this. Ruth & I were best friends growing up. Mrs. Daikin was a wonderful gentle spirit. I was welcomed into their home & slept over many weekends. We had lots of fun.
My condolences to your family, Ruth & Gerald. Praying for you.
Warmly, Kathy McCartney

To all the Dakin daughters and their families. I considered your mother a very dear friend and enjoyed all our talks at family functions. I’ll miss her dearly. Love and sympathy, Winnie.

I met Thelma at the Senior's meetings held at Philpott Church on Tuesday mornings. She always arrived early so most weeks I would make a point to visit with her before the others arrived. She was both sweet and funny. I will never forget her interest in supporting what was happening in our Sunday School. She helped to buy prizes for kids who had learned their memory work. She was a dear saint. I imagine God saying to her, "well done good and faithful servant".

I was so sad to read of your mom’s passing. She has joined our mom Betty in Glory!
They were great friends and spent hours on the phone together. Your mom was always so thoughtful in calling me to check on my mom’s health whenever my mom was hospitalized. They shared lots of good times together with their Church friends. She will be missed. Thinking of all of you as you go through this time.

Thelma was a beautiful person and a very important part of our family. We were truly blessed when our daughter Nicole married Thelma’s grandson Andre. Andres parents Ruth and Gerald introduced us to the rest of their clan and we became an instant family. We shared all celebrations together and thoroughly enjoyed our time together. So sad our little family is getting much smaller now but there is still a lot of love to go around. Thelma your great granddaughters Ella and Emmalie will carry on your legacy and remind us all to live and love just as you did. You were loved and will be missed. Love Brian and Deb.
