My sincere condolences to Olive's family on her passing in 2020. I just recently found out and wanted to say what a wonderful woman she was. I met your mother in 1979 at the Hamilton Psychiatric Hospital when I started working in Administration when I was 18 years old until she retired in December 1986 (see photo which I took for the hospital's newsletter). To me, your mother was more than a co-worker as I always said she was my second mother as well as driving me to work before I got a car. Unfortunately I lost touch with her but hopefully her twilight years were happy.

REFLECTIONS ON MOM/GRANDMA/GREAT GRANDMA BEBBINGTON (AS THE BOYS WOULD SAY)/GG (AS THE GIRLS WOULD SAY)
BY MARK BEBBINGTION & FAMILY
As we reflect upon the life of Mom/Grandma/Great Grandma Bebbington/GG, 3 Words come to mind: HEALTH, HOME, HEART
HEALTH
Despite combating Health Issues for much of her life, Asma, a Serious Car Accident, Cancer, Mom was a Fighter, a Survivor and not a Quitter. Although she was constantly dealing with her health struggles, she never focused on her Health Issues but was always more concerned about us than herself. This was true down to her last breath. On my last skype call with her although I called to see how she was doing she was more concerned about how much the call was going to cost me, whether I could afford it or not and how we were all doing. Even in that last call she focused more on how Her Grandkids/Great Grandkids were doing rather than herself.
HOME
Mom’s/Grandma’s Home was always open to us as a Family. Whether that was their Home in Hamilton, their Apartment in Stoney Creek or their Winter Home in Florida we always knew we were welcome. Whether we were flying in from Regina or Winnipeg, driving in from Bolton or Peterborough we always knew that we had a Home away from Home complete with a Swim in the pool (even in restricted hours), followed by a Roast Beef Dinner, an Apple Pie, and the “worst looking" Butter Tarts in the world that also were the “best tasting” Butter Tarts in the world. Other Treats that a visit to Grandma’s would bring was Freshly Baked Cheese Bread, Treat Bowls filled with Gummies, Werther’s Candies, Toffee Peanuts and Real Marciano Cherries tucked away in the Fridge. A Special Cake and Ice Cream from Dennigers would always be offered for Dessert.
HEART.
Although Mom/Grandma had her own way of expressing herself and doing things we knew that she always had our Best Interests at Heart. She always wanted us to do that which was best for us. Whether that applied to Food we would eat, Christmas and Birthday Gifts she would buy, Visits we would arrange, Travelling we would do, Decisions that needed to be made, she in her Heart wanted what was best for us.
HEALTH, HOME, HEART, 3 Words that Characterized Mom/Grandma/Great Grandma Bebbington/GG
And now, We are filled with Joy today in our Hearts to know that Mom/Grandma/Great Grandma Bebbington/GG is now in her Heavenly Home and her body and mind that had become so frail over these years has now been restored to Health in the Presence of God
We know this from 2 Corinthians 5: 6-8
[6] Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. [7] For we live by faith, not by sight. [8] We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
Mom/Grandma/Great Grandma Bebbington/GG is now away from the body and at home with the Lord
Please, Listen to The Words of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 which instructs us about Believers in Christ, MOM/GRANDMA/GREAT GRANDMA BEBBINGTON/GG, who have passed on from this life to the next:
[13] Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. [14] For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. [15] According to the Lord's word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. [16] For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. [17] After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so, we will be with the Lord forever. [18] Therefore encourage one another with these words.
WE ARE ENCOURAGED TODAY BY THESE WORDS THAT APPLY TO MOM/GRANDMA/GREAT GRANDMA BEBBINGTON/GG…THIS IS OUR BELIEF…THIS IS OUR HOPE
WE ENCOURAGE YOU TODAY AS WELL WITH THESE WORDS
Sincerely,
Mark, Lorraine, Heather, Chris, Tori, Ethan, Caden, Logan, Isabelle, Jeff, Ashley, Evah, Ryelynn, Willow.
