To Ruth, Doreen and all the ?Davis family, I offer my condolences. He influenced the lives of many and he will be greatly missed by people who came to know him. Wayne & Judy Richardson When we moved here in 1971 and met our new neighbours Lloyd & Ruth and Bill and Ruby we knew this was our forever home.Lloyd,Bill and Wayne became the three amigo’s. Ruth and Lloyd became Auntie Ruth and Uncle Lloyd to our daughters. If our girls tried to sneak in late Lloyd always seemed to be outside watering the flowers or sitting on the porch. He always kept an eye out for them.We where the lucky one’s.He was always their if we needed him. Everyone who knew Lloyd will truly miss him.He did so much for this community and anyone who needed anything.We know you will be watching over Ruth from above but we will be watching over her here. PS: Save us a spot beside your new home. Till we meet again.

I worked with Lloyd at Stoney Creek Dairy and considered him as a mentor ,and most of all a friend, during a conversation I had with him a couple years ago Lloyd mentioned that he owned two pieces of property in this world, one he lived in and one across the road ,we know where to find you my friend, Rest in Peace. I remember as a little girl first meeting Mr Davies and thinking - yikes this man is scary, well to a little girl , it initially appeared that way . Within a very short time I could see that Lloyd was a wonderful man , a family man who raised wonderful children with a delightful woman , Dear Ruth .
