Dear Chris and Family:
Please accept my sincere condolences on Karen's passing. Even though, I never got to meet Karen. Just by reading how much she was involved with family, I am sure she will be missed. I know that it really hard, remember the good times to try and ease the pain.

Dear Newport family - we were very saddened today to learn of Karen’s unexpected passing. We are long time clients of Desjardins and always enjoyed dealing with her. In fact, she was our go-to person there. We found her to be always bubbly, friendly and happy to be of assistance - a pleasure to deal with. You have lost a very special person - a wife and mother. We hope that the days ahead will be filled with loving and happy memories along with the sadness in your hearts ♥️

My sincere condolences to Karen’s family and loved ones. Karen and I were very close friends in high school. Along with Robin Adams, the three of us spent so much time together at school and on weekends and during the summer. Both Robin and I have so many fond memories of spending time in her backyard pool, lounging in her bedroom while we shared gossip about our lives, and enjoying her company. Karen was open and welcoming; she always made you feel heard and cared about. And, she always called you on your nonsense, but always from a place of friendship. Robin and I are both so deeply sorry we fell out of touch, as high school friendships sometimes do. Robin and I spent hours on the phone tonight recalling so many memories of her laugh, of our time together at school and our part-time jobs at McDonalds, and hanging out in each other’s homes. The Jamieson house was always a favourite - and Robin and I will never forget the countless hours spent there with our wonderful friend.
