To the McDougall families, I'm so sorry to hear of Arlene's passing. I remember, one day as a child, coming to play with Carolyn, it was a Sunday, and Arlene made Yorkshire pudding for dinner. It was the first time I had tried it, and to this day when I have Yorkshire pudding, I think of your Mom. My thoughts and prayers to all of you during this difficult time.

As a young girl, I loved climbing the fence and sneaking across the field with Laura to go to her grandma's house. We were always greeted with fresh baked cookies and felt like home.

Arlene and I were nursing classmates at HGH from I946 to 1949.We also attended our classes yearly reunions when possible.We were a close knit class.Even though her health was not the best she managed to come to Muskoka for a few hours to see us.She will be sorely missed.

Our heartfelt sympathy to all of you, her family, in your loss of someone so special. Arlene was a very classy, caring, lady, who was always there for her family and for her community. She had a genuine interest in people; having conversation and catching up on what had been happening in your lives.
