Deepest Sympathy to Ted and Family. We are all sad to hear about the loss of your father, father-in-law and grandfather. We all will miss Bill at the track where he will always be remember the most for clapping and cheering for Ted & Jackson at the starting line. Hoping you find comfort in knowing how special he is to everyone in the large racing family. Bill's smile, kindness and stories will be missed by everyone, but we find comfort that he is now re-untied with the love of his life, Carol. We will miss you Bill. Until we meet again!

Not a lot to say, Bill never failed to give us a smile, always was up beat and fun to be with. Everyone here at PI will miss the Clapper. certainly one of the GOOD Guys. our thoughts are with the whole family, the world is down a great example of a father and grandfather.

Donna and I are very sad to learn that another gearhead has passed on - there are fewer of us every day. I didn't know Bill particularly well (I met him long ago through my wife, Donna who worked with Carol) and had not seen him in a while but I liked Bill instantly from the first time I met him. I knew him to be a decent, funny guy and a great story teller. We shared a love of cars and car racing and I inquired about him at the recent drag racing show at Hamilton airport where I saw the well known and pristine Datsun on display. I'm sure that he will be missed by many. Peace be with you, Bill.

At Will and Wendy's wedding, 'Grandpa' made me smile when I needed him to join a photo opp. He sat alone on a church pew and I asked him to stand up and come to the front of the group already waiting for the camera. Instead of getting up and walking over on his own, I took both his hands to lead him forward. He broke into his sparkling grin and started slow dancing with me. *sigh* such a beautiful man.
