Dear Judy, David, Robert & Michael: belated condolences in the loss of your dear husband and father John. Bruce had the good fortunate to have met John 78 years ago. John as a young man was known for his pleasant personality and charming smile. Always a delight to be with, full of fun, kind and curiosity with a passion for trains and automobiles. To the envy of many he had a model train system display with villages, signals, bridges, and one of the first red Triumph 3 sports cars in Hamilton. In the 1950's he went to work for the newly opened CHCH TV as a tv camera operator. John welcomed the challenges and excitement in this fast growing industry. Throughout his life, John gave much of his time to care for his elders. In particular, the late Aunt Isabelle Stonehouse was grateful for the loving care he provided for many years. John was a remarkable kind and talented man, and will be dearly missed. Bruce and Carol Stonehouse Peterborough Ontario

I had the awesome privilege of knowing John and Judy for the duration of their courtship and marriage. Although we all had busy lives John and Judy were great friends and we kept in touch over the years. Judy was indeed blessed to have such a wonderful man as her husband and companion. He will be sadly missed.
