Obituary of Henderson Findlay Crick

CRICK, Henderson Findlay

Born July 28, 1926 in Shawville, Quebec and as a young man moved to Hamilton where he would eventually raise his family.  On October 19, 2018, peacefully with family by his side, Findlay went to meet his Lord and put in a good word for all his family and friends coming after him.  He had a good life and the most important thing to him was his family.  Findlay leaves behind his beloved wife of 63 years Jean (Ryan);  Father of Debi (Tom) Malley, Denise (Barton) Flick, and Darlene (Frank) Folmsbee; Grandfather of Ryan (Amy) Flick, Rachelle Malley, Brandon Malley, and Annah Flick; Great-grandfather of Finnlay Malley and Henry Flick.  Heaven now has another great angel.  He will be greatly missed and his impact on our lives will never be forgotten.  Please take a moment to remember Findlay for the incredible person he was and how he touched your life in one way or another. Many thanks to the PSWs at home and the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital for all their work in making Findlay comfortable. Visitation at 10:30 a.m. and Celebration of Life in honour of Findlay will be held at Stoney Creek United Church, 1 King St. W., Stoney Creek, on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. with light refreshments afterwards.  As per his wish, cremation has taken place.  For those who wish, donations in memory of Findlay to Stoney Creek United Church or a charity of choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
