Shock and saddened to hear of Doug's passing. Doug and I were colleges at both the former City of Stoney Creek and The City Of Hamilton. I remember Doug well as a very kind and loyal person. My Condolences to his family from the Sanderson family.

We are saddened to hear of Doug's passing. Much too young. We knew Doug from his days as a volunteer fire fighter for Winona and Stoney Creek. Our sympathies to all family and friends who mourn his loss.

Sending our condolences to the family. We have had the honour of knowing Doug for 10+ years and we have made some great memories over the years. Doug loved the get togethers at our house and one gathering was over would ask when the next one was. You always stopped by on your way by the house just to say hi. We celebrated marriages and births and birthdays and anniversaries and more together. We miss you Doug! H5He8

I knew doug for a long time growing up with Jeff and Justin. In my younger days we would always hang at his place. He was always so nice and kind to me anytime I was over, and I appericate the laughs we have all had. R.I.P Doug fly high
