It is with heavy hearts we announce that Bill passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the age of 58 after a courageous battle with cancer.  He will be missed by his loving wife Renita of 37 years and his children Alicia (Leigh) Muller, Skylar and Ethan, Jason (Nicole) Ytsma, Autumn and Freya and Emily (Tim) Brown. Bill was the son of Jetze (deceased) and Anke Ytsma, brother of John (deceased) Joyce Ytsma, Grace(Al) Kiers, Jan (Pete) Piersma, Yvonne and Andrew(Ilona) Ytsma. Brother-in-law to Tina (Art) Kuipery, Howard (Ginnette) Brouwer, and Frank (Shirley) Brouwer. He will be fondly remembered by his many nephews, nieces and friends. His favourite thing to do was spend time with his family and his large circle of friends. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, Friday, May 18, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
