I have great memories of growing up with Billy, living just down the road from him as we grew up about 50 years ago. We lived on Green Road in Stoney Creek, and we waited at the same bus stop at the end of the road when we went to John Knox. I remember in Grade 5 when he took his pet rat to school and put it in the teacher’s desk drawer on April Fool’s Day. I remember building forts with him and taking our dogs to hunt for mice in the big open field across from his house. I’m pretty sure his dog's name was Trixie. So many great memories.
