I came to know Ernesta while working at Sanford Avenue School. I will always remember Ernesta as a genuinely cheerful and caring soul, a lady who took pride in doing good work, as a friend who took time to share conversation and heartfelt laughs, and above all, as a woman who cherished and devoted herself to her family.
My apology for being unable to attend Ernesta's visitation and services as I received this sad news while out of the country. Please know the tremendous loss Ernesta's family and close friends are suffering has me holding you all very tightly in my heart.
