Obituary of Ralph Reynold Thorne

THORNE, Ralph Reynold

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at the age of 92.  Beloved husband of the late Doreen (nee Kilpatrick), loving and supportive father of Kim (Ron) and Mikah (Catherine), devoted grandfather of Ryan (Megan), Tori and Ava, and delighted great-grandfather of Hudson. Ralph was predeceased by his parents Leigh and Josephine, brothers Robert and Myron, brother-in-law Roy MacIntosh. Mother and father-in-law Robert and Laura Kilpatrick, sister-in-law Wendy Crowe (nee Kilpatrick), brother-in-law Jack (Dunn).  Ralph will be missed by his sister-in-law Norma Dunn (nee Kilpatrick) and siblings, Winnifred (Roy), Lee (Margaret), Reginald (Dareth), Delores (Mort), Janet (Harold) and Deverne (Doreen) as well as many nieces and nephews. An incredibly kind, gentle and loving man who was a tremendous role model for us all.  He will be loved and remembered in our hearts and minds forever. The Family would like to thank the staff at Sunnybrook hospital and The Briton House for the kindness and care they provided. Celebration of Ralph's life to be held in Spring 2018.  In lieu of flowers, please give generously this holiday season to those in need.
