WILSON, John Robert "Jack"

Age 103, passed peacefully at Macassa Lodge, September 19, 2017. He was born April 18, 1914. He was probably the last survivor of the Halifax explosion.   He was formally of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.   He is predeceased by his wife Mary, and survived by children, Harry, Jackie, Mary, Allan, and Doreen. He proudly watched five generations come for visits. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home,36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, September 21, 2017,  from  2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 22 at 11 a.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Stoney Creek.
