Grandad I shared many memories when little walking through the white picket fence to come see you and granny. I r member walking through the yard with you and granny, it seemed so large at the time as it was filled with flowers and beautiful tree. It was like an enchanted garden to me. We always loved coming and playing with the fish game you bought all the children and enjoy our lunch stays. You were part of my fondest memories growing up and we are going to miss you. Going to miss uncle Jack. He was a wonderful character who once took a dent out of our family car with toilet plunger! He would also stand up at the dinner table to recite one of his many poems. Love you uncle jack.

To my lovely cousins. So sorry to hear about "Uncle Jack". He was a character and lived a full life. He was a jack of all trades and master of none" and yet he managed to compose the greatest poetry, build houses, and love all. He was a story teller and loved to be the centre of attention. He made me feel loved and welcome and I always had the greatest laughter at his home. My family will miss him with all our hearts. He lived through historical times and always had a twinkle in his eye. Love you Uncle Jack. xxoo
