I too know Chris from Canada Trust over 30 years ago. I was blessed to reconnect with her in the past few years at a couple of church events and not surprised to find that her gentle spirit and beautiful soul were unchanged. Chris is one of a kind and there is no doubt that she will be deeply missed by all who know and love her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Janet Oettgen

Thinking of you during this difficult time. Chris was a wonderful, kind and beautiful being who will be greatly missed. Chris was my very first manager at Canada Trust many years ago, as Joan and I went to school together at Mohawk College and introduced me to Chris when I needed a job. I then reconnected with Chris many years back, when TD and CT joined together as I had moved on to TD since my CT days. I am so sorry, I missed the funeral as I just now found out and had no idea that Chris was ill. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Take care of each other as I know Chris will be smiling down on her beautiful family.

Dear Lauren You are in our thoughts and prayers. Your mother was a true disciple of Jesus. She lived her life to always bring praise and glory to God's name. I am truly saddened to hear of the passing of Chris. Anyone who met this remarkable woman knew how special she was. I know I am a better person because of Chris. She taught & practised love & tolerance of others. I never once heard a negative word come out of Chris's mouth, always led by example. I am fortunate to say that Chris my manager, my coworker became Chris my friend. Chris adored her family and loved to talk of her life with John, Lauren & eventually her 2 adorable grandchildren, Julia & Cole. My very sincere condolences to you all, she will be truly missed. Dear, dear Joan and Janie, And of course John and John and Steve and Mike and Lauren and Cory. My heart goes out to you for the loss of your dear Mom and dear Chris. My heartfelt condolences. Tears of sorrow, but for me also tears of joy for having known this remarkable friend for so many years. Although we had not much contact through the years there was still a beautiful spot in my heart for Pieta and her daughters as I knew them well, You all are and were such special people in my life. Thankful for the springtime this year when you Janie came to speak in Cayuga and I felt again the wonderful connection and love for you and Chris, Thankful for the talks we had together that day. The plaque we made all of us that day.......But the Greatest is LOVE. It is sitting in our Living room and will now always have a special memory of that day Chris and I talked so wonderful together as it was the last time I saw her. But she will be like your Mom be in my heart. A priviledge to have met you through Gods miracle networking. And in that place in the Hereafter we will meet again. That is for now a Comfort. We know that the Lord's Name IS the Comforter and He will Comfort you although I am sure you will miss her greatly here on earth. My love to you all, In Him yours Arda and Cor
