To the Smithson Family, Ron was a very special man and such a gentleman. The many wonderful times with Ron & Mary at CIM functions will always be remembered. We shared laughter and tears, and wonderful hugs from your parents. It made me smile to read "Along with his wife he was a coordinator of the Marriage Preparation course for over 30 years," - didn't know that, but sure can understand why. I will remember Ron & Mary with tears in my eyes, but knowing the wonderful times we shared together, and how honored I am to have known them both. Nancy Lockman

I am so saddened to hear that Ron has passed away and sorry for your loss. I got to know Mary and Ron through CHHA as I followed Mary as President of CHHA for a couple of terms. They were both lovely people and will be sadly missed. God bless you my prayers will be with you on the 5th.

Both your Dad and I were Westinghouse employees, but came to know him through volunteering with your Mom. As Mary was the Canadian HARD of HEARING Association (CHHA-Hamilton & Area) president, I worked closely with her and it was a pleasure to know them both. They will be missed. May they rest in peace.
