Obituary of Mary Cormier

CORMIER, Mary (Lahm) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Christina, on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2016, in her 94th year. Cherished mother of Denise Restivo (Angelo), kind & loving Nanny to her dear Grandchildren, Claire (Aaron), Jude (Kelly), Casie (Adrian), David (Ali), Alyssa (Jason), Greg (Amie), Katharine (Bryan) and to her precious Great-Grandchildren, Elliote, Connor, Reese, Oliver, Sloane, Miles, Bennett, Jack, Nicholas, Audrey, Calvin, Edison, and Charlotte. Predeceased by her loving husband, Auguste (2004) and her daughter, Lucille (1982), we joyfully celebrate a life well-lived. We wish to thank Dr. Allega for his care and guidance over the years and to the Personal Support Workers, whose daily care, allowed Nanny to live at home until her final days. A loving thank you to her long time friend, Carrolle, who would take Nanny to Church each Sunday and visit her throughout the years. Thank you, Marilyn, for your caring commitment and personal attention while we were away. And to her wonderful Live-in Caregiver, Geneta, who cared for Nanny in such a special way these past few weeks. A private service has taken place and we wish to thank our family and friends for their overwhelming love and support during this difficult time.
