We will be forever grateful to Nanny's family for sharing her with us. She was truly a special loving human being. Her positive attitude in spite of her health challenges over the past several years were borne with a kind and gentle spirit.
We spent many hours especially over meals at the kitchen table chatting about anything and everything and the oh so wonderful memories she shared from long ago.
How she yearned to be able to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
During the warm weather we would go for spins in her wheel chair. While she sometimes needed a little bit of extra encouragement to get out, once we were on our way I would describe the scenery as we passed by, the houses under construction, the beautiful trees and flowers, dogs (and their walkers) who occasionally would stop and let her pet them and usually a stop in the nearby mini park for a snack and a drink.
Sometimes we would sit out by the pool with Mike and Kai and our foster dog just arriving or being picked up.
Nanny helped create heartfelt memories for all who knew her.
Love you always,
M & M and the pack
