To the family and friends of Jo Verboom, I extend my sincere condolences on his passing. I first met Jo in the Heavy garage at Dofasco, where he was a mechanic and I was a heavy equipment operator... some years later, we would cross paths yet again, when I was working at Trailer Field Service as night shift supervisor, and Jo was a technician there. Together with another staff member, Cam Way, we became great friends, and a great crew. Later, when myself and Cam opened our own company, Wayco Truck and Trailer, Jo was instrumental in our infancy as a wealth of fabricating and technical knowledge, and would often come in to assist us on busy days. Many hours, many laughs and many stories shared, and a few jars, over the years. Though we have since lost Cam to cancer, and now Jo as well, I often think back to those days with a chuckle and a smile.
Fondly remembered by many of us here, on behalf of myself, and all of us at Wayco Truck and Trailer, our sympathy, and, may many good memories help guide you through this time, as you celebrate the life of a good, decent man.
