My deepest condolences to Celeste and all of Scotts family. There are very few people in this world that can compare to the likes of Scott Hawkins. He was the most gracious person I ever had the pleasure to meet. Always their when anyone needed a helping hand and just the sound of his name will always bring a slight smile to my face and a heavy tear in my heart. Leith and Dan, you are in my thoughts and prayers. May the wonderful memories that you have of Scott keep you strong. God saw you were getting tired, And a cure was not to be, So he put his arms around you, And whispered, "Come to Me." With tearful eyes we watched you, And saw you pass away. Scott was truly a special friend to all of us. We will miss our frequent visits, our golf games and especially our go-kart races we ever so enjoyed doing together. Scott became my friend from the time I first met him. I will always remember his bright smile as he would walk into the office, then say "hello young fellow what canI do for you". Scott was a totally giving person, a man amongst him ; a man could have no better friend then was Scott. I will truly miss him and I know he has gone to a better place, a place where his parents are and his beloved Xena is waiting for her next walk with him. SEE YA YOUNG FELLOW.

My condolences to the families. Losing Scott so soon must be extremely difficult. I first met scott many many years ago as he was a very close friend to Vaughn. Scott was also a groomsmen at our wedding. I call him part of the 'packrat' group of Dofasco. The close-knit of friends that hung out. I will never forget Scott's kind smile, great sense of humour. My boys were very lucky to spend time with him growing up when his friend "mucker" showed up. Many many great memories will be cherished by both Dayten and Jerren. My heart goes out to the families during this difficult time.
