DESTRO, Alfonso (Al) Suddenly at home, on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at the age of 54. Dearly loved husband of Sherry. Devoted father of Alphonse. Loved son of Marianna and Alfonso Sr. Loved brother of Sam (Karen), Michelle (Terry O’Neill), and Joe (Linda). Dear uncle of Christine, Michael, Joseph, Matthew and Anna. Dear son-in-law of Marlene and Larry Smurlick. Special nephew to the late Angelina and Joe Moreale. Will be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles and friends. Al was the inspirational driving force behind Rainbow Car Wash/Esso Petroleums. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Monday 7 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 934 Highway #8, Winona on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 10 a.m. Entombment Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum.
