Dear Cathy, I have only just learned of Bob's passing. It has been so long (more than 50 years) since we graduated from Queen's, but I have thought of you and Bob many times since those days. I can only believe that you had a life together of deep fulfillment. I could not have attended the service (Saskatoon is a long way away), but my thoughts remain with you during this difficult period. Don

My dearest Catherine and family. We just heard that Robert has passed away and we are sorry that we were not there to give our condolences. Dorothy always told a lot of stories from St. Mary,s church and what a wonderful couple you were. You and Robert were always there for Dorothy during her journey. Dear Catherine and Family We were so very sorry to learn of Bob's passing. It was such an incredible time to share with both of you while he was rooming with Richard! Dear Catherine and family, I first met Bob at St. John's York Mills while I was in the course of being prepared for Confirmation. At the time I was enormously grateful for his willingness to take seriously the earnest questions of a young adolescent. In later years, as a fellow priest in the Diocese of Toronto, I appreciated those same qualities of intelligent listening and patience on more than a few occasions. May he rest in peace and rise in glory. Yours faithfully, Kevin Flynn

How wonderful to have known Bob as a colleague in ministry. Always a bubbly smile or wry insight into the various kinds of people we deal with. He was a person that I looked up to in his natural leadership ways. You have done well, Bob. May the good Lord deal kindly with you. You deserve it!

Catherine & family, I remember with great fondness working as a colleague with Bob in York Central Deanery. Bob's wisdom, sense of humour and patient love of the Church in all its glory and foibles encouraged me! He was a wonderful colleague, faithful priest and friend to many. May God's deep grace and peace be with you as you commit him into God's keeping! My prayers are with you all.

Dear Catherine and family, Jim and I send our condolences on the loss of your dear Bob. He certainly fought the good fight all these years and your tender care was a great part of it. My Aunt Peg(Godmother) was so very fond of you and the care and ministrations from Bob and you when she was in Richmond Hill. Jim and I were happy that we briefly met up with you at that time. We go back a fair way don't we? All good memories from our Brighton days with your Mom and Dad and my folks! Special people all. Blessings to all. Sincerely, Jane and Jim

Sincere condolences to Catherine and the family from Garry and myself. Thinking of all the years of service to the community of St. Mary's Anglican Church in Richmond Hill. We have wonderful memories of him co officiating at our wedding in 2006. I am deeply grateful to Bob for helping me to realize my talents and for his encouragement on my spiritual journey. There are many in the St. Mary's community who are saddened by this news but we are grateful for a life well lived.
