Dear Donna, Ryan, Kayley & Evan,
What an incredible loss of such a vibrant man, larger than life, always with a quiet knowing smile. Our lives have moved apart but those years of being neighbours and friends still holds a very special place in our hearts and minds. We look forward to sharing our memories of Ron at his Celebration of Life in September and will watch this site for the date. Please know you are all in our thoughts during this very difficult time.
Much love from the Gyoker clan ... xo

To Donna and Family. My sincere condolences for your loss. Ron and I met on the board of the CCI GHC. We exchanged email or calls at least every other day for many years. I learnt so much from him about condo law and even how to deal with difficult people. I have never met a more patient and pleasant person to deal with. I really mean this ... I don't think I ever saw Ron mad in the 20 years I knew him. I will miss Ron more than words can express.

My heartfelt condolences for the tremendous loss you have experienced. All of us at Simpson, Wigle are in shock. Ron was such a huge part of our firm.
Ron and I worked together for 26 years. We started our legal careers at almost the same time. He was a pleasure to have as a partner and friend. He was always kind, had a positive outlook and respected others. He was the organizer of our firm Xmas party for many years. He made a tremendous contribution to the firm, building one of the largest condominium law practices in Canada. But you know all of this. He was a true gentlemen and he will be truly missed by his work family.

To: his family,
I had the honour of working with Ron for 11 years when I served on the CCI
chapter and as president of a condo board.
It goes without saying that condominium law in Ontario has lost an
enlightened champion and many corporations like mine have lost a sensible
advisor, a gentleman with impeccable credentials who used them with
sincerity, practical diligence and a dry sense of humour not often practiced
in this field.
Ontario has lost a quiet, patient mover and shaker whose legacy will last a
long, long, time.
With sincere sympathies,
Don Graves.

Ron was a leader in the area of condominium law, ever willing to share his knowledge and experience with other members of our profession. He was taken from us much too early but his legacy will continue.
Sincere condolences to Donna and all of the other members of his loving family.

Ron was the lawyer who first hired me at Simpson Wigle for a maternity leave. I remained at Simpson Wigle for 11 years working in other available positions. I appreciated his kindness and that he believed in me. I enjoyed his Star Wars jokes, and his Star Wars related passwords. I noticed the flowers in the sink on Fridays that he would purchase for his wife at the market, and thought that was so nice of him.

My deepest sympathies to Donna, Ryan (Carrera, Abby), Kaillie and Evan. I have worked with Ron for over 10 years. He was a man who respected those around him, always had a dry wit which would make you laugh long after the comment was made and who showed numerous times how thoughtful he was to all who knew him. He loved the holidays and trick or treat always came early at SimpsonWigle with Ron around. He spoke often about his family and how he loved to enjoy their company, especially his enjoyment of the cottage and making the holidays a special time. He will be truly missed. I am truly blessed to have known him.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Bev Gilbert.

It is a shock for us and our co-ownership's community to hear about sudden and very unexpected departure of Me Ron Danks (as we knew him). He was supportive of the Québec differences within Canadian Condominium world at Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI). With authorization, we did publish some of his texts in our Bulletin including one on grow-up. It is still very actual.
Thank Me Danks for all you have done for the condominium industry and for us in Québec
