I met Sonia through her best friend Effie, a few months back. I liked her immediately. Effie said we were alot alike...a compliment for sure. She was a wonderful person and I wish I had more time to get to know her. She was couragous till the end, an end that came way too soon. My thoughts are with John in his time of grief and loss. No man should have to go through what he did. My prayers are with the family and hope that their memories of Sonia warms their hearts and gives them strength to carry on in this life without her. My sincerest condolences.

To my friend Olga.
I know you must have a hole in your heart, and my thoughts are with you.
I missed seeing you all these years because of the distance, but I know you were a great mother as your mother was, and this is too sad for words.
I am hoping to come by to see you and your family tonight. Love, Adele

My heart felt sympathies to you all. I knew Sonya's sister Caroline from High School and remember Sonya who was in my youngest brother Michael's class. I had the pleasure of seeing Sonya again several years ago and remember her spirit and energy. Her love of life was obvious to all.
Caroline, my prayers are with you and your family. I cannot imagine your loss.
Please know that others are thinking about you and are keeping you close in their thoughts.

It is with profound sadness that I send my condolences to the Singer and DelPra families. I have warm memories of Sonya as a child as well as a student at ND. As time and distance separated us I always knew I had a loving cousin in Sonya. I am remembering Sonya and all of you in my thoughts and prayers. She will be sadly missed.

I'm sending my condolences via e-mail to the families of Sonya and John. Ever since I can remember I've spent rotating weekends in Canada and Buffalo with Sonya and our combined families. And as a child she made such a wonderfull and remarkable impression on me.. that since, I've always strived to take the goodness and love she possesed for life, and use it in my everyday life. Sonya will be deeply missed by her family, friends and the many lives she's touched throughout the years. My father, who's since passed (1981) had a special place in his heart for Sonya. He used to call her Hummi Peepoke translated from Hungarian it means Cinderella, and he called her that because she sprinkled love and joy everywhere she went. To me, now and forever this is how she will be remembered. My heart and my thoughts are with Olga, John and the rest of the family now. All my love!. Barbara Toth

John, years pass and relatives and families change and grow apart over time. But, memories last forever. I have nothing but fond memories of Sonya from our many family gatherings and visits during our childhood to early adult years. May your memories of Sonya last forever too.
