Dear Richard (or Ricky as I knew you years ago) and family, I was very sorry to see that Joan has passed away. I remember her so well and her kindness and joy she showed throughout all the early Smithville get togethers. She was a lovely lady and I know you will miss her greatly. I have many fond memories of Joan and Harley. I also remember Bud. I hope in time that you will only remember the good times you had with your Mom. I did not see a lot of your Mom during the last few years, but I did run into them in Stoney Creek occasionally when I visited my Aunt and Uncle who lived in the apartment building behind their condo.
