Obituary of Wilfred Joseph Austin

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wilf at the Juravinski Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Gayle (Stevens). Dearly loved by his sisters Marie (Laurie) Harding and Shirley Bagu (the late Harry). He will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, especially Ken and Jessica, Pat and Keith, cousin Dave Wales and his wife April and our best friends Wayne and Marilyn Potocic. Thank you for just being there. Wilf was owner of Gold Door Variety for 30 years and drove for Dell (Rexall) Pharmacy for 18 years. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Stoney Creek United Church, (King St. at Lake Ave. S.) on Thursday, May 1 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
